Who makes FileMyLtd?

FileMyLtd is a product of Cyber Spark IT Services Ltd, a UK software company registered in England and Wales, company number 14891489, incorporated on 24 May 2023. Its registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

It is built by Sameer Mushtaq, the company's director, who files the company's own accounts. FileMyLtd is independent: it is not part of, endorsed by or affiliated with Companies House or HMRC.

What it does

FileMyLtd prepares dormant and micro-entity accounts for Companies House and the CT600 Company Tax Return for HMRC. It fills in what it can from the Companies House register and previous accounts, checks the figures in plain English, and leaves the approval and the submission to the director. FileMyLtd is in early access. Accounts and tax returns are being tested with Companies House and HMRC; live filing opens to early-access members first.

How it's built

• The director submits. Software prepares and checks; it never approves or submits on anyone's behalf.
• Credentials aren't kept. HMRC logins are used for one submission and discarded. See the security page.
• Simple companies only. FileMyLtd says when a company needs an accountant rather than stretching to cover it.

How guides are written and checked

Every guide is written for a director, not an accountant, and checked against GOV.UK, Companies House and HMRC guidance on the date shown. Each one lists its sources with their own "last updated" dates. Search figures come from DataForSEO's Google Ads data and are labelled with the month they were pulled. Guides are reviewed when the rules change, and at least every April, when most thresholds and rates are set.
