What isn't included
FileMyLtd is software for directors who file their own accounts. It doesn't include bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, confirmation statements or accountancy advice, and it doesn't cover full, group, audited or LLP accounts. Companies that need those are better served by an accountant.
FAQ
What is the early-joiner offer?
People who join during early access get 50% off: £5 a year instead of £10 for a dormant company, and £14.50 instead of £29 for micro-entity accounts with the CT600. Nobody is charged without agreeing to it first.
Is the price per company?
Yes. Each company you file for has its own plan, so a director with a dormant company and a trading company would pay for one of each.
What does Companies House charge?
Companies House charges nothing to file annual accounts, dormant or otherwise. The confirmation statement has its own Companies House fee, which is separate from FileMyLtd.
What if my company starts trading?
Move it to the micro-entity plan. It covers trading accounts and the CT600 for the same company, and last year's dormant figures carry across as comparatives.
Is VAT included?
The VAT position will be stated alongside the confirmed prices before anyone pays. The planned prices are shown without a VAT line until then.
